Project Manager – Construction (On-Site)

Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee on-site construction projects from initiation through to completion on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of on-site project delivery, from planning and scheduling to execution and handover.
* Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective coordination and productivity.
* Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation, addressing any risks or delays proactively.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and reporting to senior management and clients.
* Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
* Liaise with stakeholders including architects, engineers, and local authorities.
* Maintain accurate documentation, records, and project reports throughout all stages.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry (site-based).
* Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S compliance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work to tight deadlines.
* Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (HNC/HND/Degree).
Desirable:
* CSCS / SMSTS certification.
* Experience managing residential, commercial, or industrial builds.
