Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in planning and delivering dynamic, engaging lessons.
* Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and encourage active student participation.
* Prepare learning materials and support classroom activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students both inside and outside the classroom.
* Work closely with the class teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly.
Requirements:
* Experience in a teaching support role or working with children is beneficial but not essential.
* A proactive and patient approach to supporting children's learning.
* Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents while fostering positive relationships.
* Passionate about helping children develop confidence and achieve their potential.
* Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient nature.
* Adaptable and quick-thinking, able to respond effectively to diverse classroom situations.
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
