Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Salary: up to £55,000 DOE
Location: Hertfordshire, UK

A client of ours are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing, collaborative consultancy team delivering high-quality infrastructure and development projects across a diverse portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to further develop technical, commercial, and leadership skills while working closely with senior staff in a supportive environment.
Chartership is strongly advised for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site appraisals, feasibility studies, and pre-application advice.
* Infrastructure and drainage design, including SuDS and FRA.
* Highways design (Section 38 and Section 278).
* Earthworks, cut/fill analysis, and ground modelling.
* Liaison with authorities and adoption agreements.
* Contract administration and site supervision.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
* Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in a civil engineering consultancy.
* Strong experience in infrastructure and drainage design.
* Proficiency in FLOW drainage modelling software and Civil 3D.
* Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing roles.
