Your new role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant on a TEMP basis to support the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to contribute to a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Immediate availability is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Support budgeting and forecasting activities
3. Conduct variance analysis and provide insightfulmentary
4. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain financial records
5. Assist with audit preparation and year-end reporting
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement
What you'll need to succeed
8. Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)/ Qualified by experience
9. Proven experience in a similar finance role
10. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
11. Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
12. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
13. Must be available to start immediately
