We’re looking for a Senior Estimator to join a leading name in the UK’s infrastructure and construction sector — an organisation recognised for delivering complex, high-value civil engineering projects across rail, highways, energy, and major public works.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for major tenders and frameworks.
* Support clients with early-stage pricing advice and value-engineering solutions.
* Work closely with Bid Managers, Planners, Procurement, and Technical Services to ensure competitive and compliant submissions.
* Analyse designs and suggest cost-effective alternatives to optimise project delivery.
* Lead and mentor Assistant Estimators, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
* Coordinate with procurement to source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
* Take ownership of risk identification, cash flow considerations, and tender governance.
* Contribute to both successful bid handovers and post-tender reviews for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector.
* Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and methodologies.
* Commercial awareness of various forms of contract (NEC, JCT, etc.).
* Proficiency with estimating software packages and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* A proactive, detail-driven approach with a commitment to integrity, accountability, and innovation.
