About the role
We are seeking to appoint a qualified PE teacher to teach alongside our existing team whilst a colleague is on maternity leave. The role will predominantly be teaching core PE rather than the GSCE or A level course, but candidates who can offer a wider range of experience would also be helpful. The role requires a female candidate as duties will include the supervision of the female-only changing rooms.
Responsibilities
* Teach core PE lessons, engaging and inspiring students of all abilities both in and out of lessons.
* Model good teaching practice.
* Support colleagues in the department with school fixtures and sports clubs in line with the school's programme.
* Supervise the female-only changing rooms.
Qualifications
* Qualified PE teacher.
* Experience in core PE teaching.
* Female candidate.
Other requirements
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance check required. The school reserves the right to research shortlisted candidates on social media platforms and the internet.
