Offer Description
The role involves research to develop a configurable AI agentic framework that:
* Integrates with the full security lifecycle of an AI system
* Provides innovative verification and assurance options
The research will investigate:
* Excessive Agency and discovery of data and attack vectors exploitable by AI systems
* Misuse through analysis of access and system logs using anomaly detection
* Sensitive Data Exposure by identifying memorized data, access control issues, or leaks in RAG settings
* Supply chain security by integrating MLSecOps, DevSecOps, and techniques for third-party model assessment
About the Candidate
Applicants should demonstrate:
* Possession or imminent completion of a PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physical sciences
* Recent high-quality research in machine learning/AI or cybersecurity, evidenced by publications
* Software programming skills
Applicants should clearly evidence how they meet the essential and desirable criteria in their application.

The position is initially fixed-term but may be renewed or made permanent depending on funding.
