Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a health care support worker to join the Dunfermline locality District Nursing Team. You must have excellent organisational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, be a team player and have a genuine interest in working in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent evidence based treatment and care to house bound patients.
* Prevent unnecessary admission and support earliest possible discharge from hospital.
* Support the District Nursing Team across the Fife‑wide division and provide evening cover as required.
* Work within a 7 day, 24 hour Community Nursing Service, including weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous community experience and phlebotomy skills are an advantage.
* Appropriate SVQ desirable.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom or eligibility to be sponsored.

Salary is pro rata to part-time hours.
