Land Manager £60-70k Car Allowance Bonus South East England Are you a highly motivated and experienced Land Manager looking for your next challenge? A leading South East land-led housebuilder, specialising in the development of new homes and communities, is seeking a dedicated Land Manager to join its Land Team on a permanent basis. As a Land Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving growth by proactively identifying and securing new land opportunities. Your responsibilities will include: Actively sourcing land opportunities through enquiries, comprehensive searches, and direct approaches. Leading negotiations for land interests and expertly guiding price discussions through to successful acquisition. Maintaining strong relationships with land agents and landowners to uncover potential development sites. Rigorously evaluating each site's development potential and overall feasibility, considering all relevant factors. Preparing comprehensive Land Purchase Approval Packs for review. Attending regular land meetings with the Land Team and Managing Director, providing insightful updates on acquisition activity. About You Specialist knowledge and extensive experience in appraising development opportunities. A strong grasp of land acquisition processes, including site evaluation, thorough market research, and the production of accurate feasibility assessments and cash flows. A solid understanding of the planning system and procedures in the UK. Excellent local knowledge of the regional area and its associated markets in the South East of England. A well-established network of land agent contacts and a proactive approach to fostering and growing these relationships.
