Responsibilities
Protection of Property and Premises
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
* Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as required.
* Conduct internal and external security patrols in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
* Manage traffic control and enforce parking restrictions where necessary.
* Carry out routine tests and checks of security equipment.
* Manage keys and perform all locking and unlocking tasks as directed.
* Ensure all equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is used and maintained according to Assignment Instructions.
* Maintain accurate logbooks, records, and documentation.
* Issue visitor and contractor passes in alignment with site procedures.
* Handle lost property in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
Health and Safety
* Provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors to help ensure a safe environment.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Record and report faults, hazards, unsafe practices, and all accidents to a supervisor or manager.
* Maintain clear walkways and emergency escape routes at all times.
* Report any use of First Aid equipment and highlight any shortages or issues with First Aid supplies.
* Notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in the event of emergencies and follow all instructions provided.
* Investigate and report the cause of all fire alarm activations.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:

* · Valid SIA licence
* · Flexible availability to work days, nights, and weekends
* · Right to work in the UK with a 5‑year checkable history
* · Strong English communication skills written and spoken
