Your Role as a Care Assistant
You’ll play a vital role in supporting our female service users to live independently, with dignity and confidence. No two days are the same — you’ll be making a difference both at home and within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individuals with daily living and personal care
* Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
* Encouraging participation in hobbies and social activities
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication
* Supporting mobility and rehabilitation following hospital stays
Additional Support You’ll Provide
* Companionship and social interaction
* Medication collection and reminders
* Nutrition and mealtime assistance
* Housekeeping and light cleaning
* Mobility support and safe use of aids
* Health observation and reporting
* Promoting social inclusion and family contact
* Emotional reassurance and listening support
* Accurate record-keeping and reporting
* ️ Emergency response and safety awareness
* Collaboration with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
