The Role The Sales Support Executive plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the sales function. You’ll provide administrative, operational, and customer service support to the B2B sales team, helping to improve productivity, maintain customer satisfaction, and streamline sales processes from lead generation to post-sale follow-up. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in order processing and coordination, with the ability to deliver accurate, timely support in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Sales Administration: Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts in coordination with the sales team CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data, opportunities, and pipeline activity in the CRM system Order Processing: Coordinate order entry, approvals, and delivery schedules with internal departments (e.g., operations, logistics, finance) Reporting & Analysis: Produce regular sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management review Customer Support: Respond to client inquiries, manage follow-ups, and resolve any pre- or post-sale issues promptly Team Coordination: Support Sales Managers and Account Executives with scheduling, documentation and meeting preparation Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in sales operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ideal Candidate Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently High attention to detail and accuracy; adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude High level of integrity and professionalism Excellent IT skills, including documents, Excel, and presentations Familiarity with sales reporting tools and CRM platforms (advantageous) Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends Customer-focused with a proactive problem-solving attitude Experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role; B2B sales experience is an advantage What We Offer Hybrid working options 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata) Private Health Care Standard Nest pension contributions Staff discount Salary range: £26k - £28k pro rata Hours: 36 hours per week, flexible working hours available.
