If so, Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care and Health wants to hear from you. We are seeking to recruit a Social Worker for a permanent part‑time contract based at The Arc, covering the Bolsover area.
As part of our Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START), you will be required to take a strength‑based approach to deliver a proportionate, personalised, safe and sustainable response for local adults, their carers, and families. You must be able to work autonomously in a multi‑disciplinary team.
A positive approach to risk taking, personal resilience and the ability to contribute to inter‑agency and multi‑disciplinary approaches, both across the Council and in other statutory bodies, are key to this role.
You will be required to have a working knowledge of relevant legislation, you will be undertaking safeguarding work, mental capacity assessments/best interest decisions, Care Act assessments, supporting colleagues in the team, supporting ASYE's/student when required and MARM work etc.

Support and Work Environment
