Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager
Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Working from 6pm to 2am Monday to Thursday and 3pm to 11pm on Friday. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours and to cover the 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am shifts to suit business needs.

About the role:
As Warehouse Shift Manager, you’ll lead and support the team to keep operations running safely, accurately, and on time. You’ll be hands‑on in making sure stock is handled correctly, orders are picked with accuracy, and our people have the right support to perform at their best. If you’re an experienced warehouse leader with a focus on safety, efficiency, and team development, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering great service to our customers every day.
Role Responsibilities:
* Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full
* Providing a high‑quality service to suit customers’ needs
* Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives
* Supervising a team of operatives across all shifts
* Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
* Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary
Experience and Key Attributes:
* Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
* Experience managing or supervising warehouse processes for an FMCG
* IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP
* FLT licence and experience (desirable)
* Manual Handling (desirable)
* Customer Service
