An exciting and rare opportunity for an IT Support Technician has arisen at our Dungannon Site.

About the role:

To assist the IT team in the day to day management of the company systems, incorporating communications, network and office and manufacturer systems, backup and DR and Cyber Security of company data and infrastructure.

About The Role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Working on IT tickets logged on the IT Helpdesk system.
* To assist in the day to day management and control of the company computer systems, including the installation and support of PC/Laptop and Mobile Device Hardware.
* To assist in the monitoring and controlling company system resources – both hardware and software.
* To support the selection of computer equipment and software for internal and project related requirements.

Technical Needs:

* Windows Server, Microsoft 10/11 Operating Systems and Office Products.
* Apple and Android Operating systems and products.
* Cyber Security Awareness, systems, and procedures.
* Good understanding of hardware and software specifications.
* Experience of setting up PC/Laptop and Mobile Devices.
* Troubleshooting and resolving IT related issues users may experience.
* Experience in Networking including Wireless Networks and Firewalls.

Desirable but not essential:

* Experience in O365 & Azure Environment including Sharepoint and Exchange Online.
* Cisco Webex.
* Backup and Recovery Procedures.
* Powershell.
* Knowledge of Domain Management, Certificates and Email Security.
* Knowledge of DNS, DHCP & Group Policy.
* Experience within an Active Directory Domain environment.

Education & Experience:

* A good standard of education within IT and experience in an IT based environment.
* The ability to deal with internal departments of mixed disciplines and personnel at all levels.
* A good standard of verbal and written communication.
* Experience and understanding of IT issues – knowledge of operating systems, software, data management techniques and related hardware.
* Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
