Home: 4 bedded EBD home with a therapeutic PACE approach. Location: Coventry, CV7. Salary: up to £15.50 per hour, plus £50 per sleep-in. Annual bonus: up to £384 paid quarterly. Overall package: £36,145.50 - £38,224.50 per year (based on 10 sleeps + bonus). Private healthcare via Vitality and access to free counselling. Enrolment onto the Level 5 in Leadership and Management through the Deputy Manager Development Programme. Shift pattern: 9:30–23:00 on a 1 on 2 off rolling three-week rota.
The Organisation
Join a recently inspected “Good in all areas” 4-bed B.E.D. Children’s home in Exhall, Coventry (CV7). A small, family-run provider with plans for a second home in the future. The home is spacious with a garden, staff and young people use a home-gym, and the setting supports two current residents (13 and 15) who are in full-time education. The team has over 20 years of management experience in children’s homes.
The Package & Benefits
* Basic Pay: £14.50 – £15.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus £50 per sleep-in
* Guaranteed Annual Bonus: 5% of basic salary (up to £#removed# per year) in bonuses, paid quarterly (up to £384 every three months)

What Will The Role Entail?
As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be the backbone of the shift, drawing on your experience in children’s homes to lead and develop the team, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality care for young people.
The Successful Candidate Will Excel At
* Communicating effectively with young people, colleagues, families, and external professionals; shift-leading, problem-solving, and staying calm under pressure
* Key-working with young people to promote life skills and independence, encourage education, activities, and hobbies, and prepare them for adult life
* Developing and reviewing Ofsted paperwork such as care plans, behaviour support plans, and risk assessments
* Following Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies and procedures
* Understanding health and safety, medication administration, cleanliness, and finances within the home
Requirements
* 2+ years’ experience in a children’s home environment
* Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Full UK manual driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Flexibility to work the described shift pattern, including sleep-ins
* A genuine passion for supporting the well-being and healthy development of young people
