GRAHAM is a long established Tier One contractor with a heritage stretching back to 1798. As we continue to grow our Civil Engineering Division, were looking for a talented Tender Planner to play a key role in developing winning bids and supporting our project delivery teams. This is an exciting opportunity to influence major infrastructure projects while advancing your career with a respected and progressive contractor.
As a Tender Planner, you will work closely with our Pre Contracts and bid teams to prepare robust, compliant, and clearly structured programmes for high value civil engineering tenders. Youll contribute creative solutions, technical expertise, and planning insight that strengthens our bids and supports our continued success.
What are some of the tasks youll be doing?
* Developing tender programmes in line with ITT requirements, methodology and design inputs
* Creating and managing Primavera P6 programmes within the enterprise database
* Providing programme analysis, critical path insight and strategic planning support to the bid team
* Cost and resource loading tender programmes where required
* Extracting reports, outputs and baseline comparisons to support bid submissions
* Presenting tender programmes to internal and external stakeholders
* Integrating supplier and designer programmes into the master tender programme
* Offering technical expertise and introducing planning innovations where beneficial
What Were Looking For from our Tender Planner:
Essential:
* Extensive experience in a similar role within civil engineering, with a main contractor
* Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
* Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
* Effective team collaborator with strong organisational ability
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Professional membership (APM, CIOB etc.)
* Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies
* Experience leading or mentoring planning teams
