Are you a passionate, creative, and dedicated educator looking to make a real difference in the lives of autistic young people? We are seeking an exceptional SEND Teacher to join our specialist provision supporting pupils aged 3–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and a range of additional needs.
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each learner. Working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will plan and deliver personalised learning programmes that promote independence, communication, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with autism and complex needs
2. Develop personalised learning plans that reflect each pupil’s EHCP outcomes
3. Use a range of specialist approaches (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, sensory integration) to support engagement
4. Work collaboratively with therapists, behaviour specialists, and support staff
5. Foster strong relationships with families and contribute to annual reviews
6. Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
7. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required

9. Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferably autism)
