Location: Cleish Primary School
Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring leader with the skills, confidence, and energy to positively impact the lives of our children?
We seek someone capable of leading our school community, developing learning and teaching, and ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
You should have experience leading improvement initiatives across a school, demonstrating leadership skills and their impact on learner outcomes. Experience leading a team, such as a working group or staff team, is essential. Ideally, you will have held a leadership position, including Middle Leader, Central Officer, or Head Teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small rural school, support the school community in demonstrating values of respect, kindness, inclusion, responsibility, and fairness. The role includes a teaching commitment, but support networks such as your QIO, peer Head Teacher, and induction programs are in place.
Applicants appointed from 1 August 2020 to their first permanent Head Teacher post must have attained the Standard for Headship, per the Head Teachers Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2019. Support for gaining this qualification is provided by Perth & Kinross Council.
