What You’ll Do
* Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for our open‑source software, including the YOLO11 model and other vision AI solutions.
* Create engaging tutorials, how‑to guides, and best‑practice articles covering topics from model training and hyperparameter tuning to deployment on various platforms.
* Document our Python API, CLI, and key integrations like TensorRT and OpenVINO.
* Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to translate complex technical concepts into user‑friendly content for a diverse audience.
* Manage our documentation portal using MkDocs, Markdown, and a Git‑based workflow on GitHub.
* Apply SEO best practices to enhance the visibility and discoverability of our documentation and blog content.
* Develop and maintain a consistent style and voice across all technical content, ensuring it aligns with the Ultralytics brand.
Skills and Experience
* 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably for a developer audience in AI or software industry.
* Exceptional command of the English language with proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical content.
* Proficiency with documentation‑as‑code workflows using Markdown, Git, and GitHub.
* Hands‑on experience with static site generators like MkDocs or Sphinx.
* Basic proficiency in Python to understand and document code examples and APIs.
* Strong interest in or experience with machine learning, computer vision, and object detection models such as YOLO.
* Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and other developer tools.
* Knowledge of SEO principles and how to apply them to technical documentation.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment.
