A successful and fast‑growing firm of chartered accountants based in Axminster is searching for an Accounts and Tax Manager to join their team. The opportunity provides excellent progression prospects, managing a wide ranging client portfolio overseeing accounts, tax, advisory services and building client relationships as well as developing and supporting the wider team and working with partners on growing the business.

Responsibilities
You will manage the delivery of wide‑ranging services to a varied client portfolio focused on accounts, tax and wider advisory services. Your work will be project‑oriented, covering clients across the spectrum in size and sector, up to the audit threshold. You will build relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, while being supported by a wider team. You will play a key role in developing, supporting, mentoring and managing this team, and carving an influential role in this successful, growing firm of independent accountants.
Qualifications
For this role you should be ACA/ACCA/CTA/AAT qualified, or equivalent, with a career background within accountancy practice across accounts, tax, audit or general service delivery to sole‑trade, partnership and limited‑company clients. You should have progressed to the Account Manager / Client Manager level and be looking to take your career to the next level within a leading firm, with a clear progression and development path for those aiming beyond a managerial role.
Job Offer
