Clarity are recruiting a Part Time Support Pharmacist for a pharmacy in Belfast
What you need to know:
This is a permanent role, working 2 or 3 days per week (including Saturdays). There are No Sundays, No Late Nights past 6pm (5:30pm on Saturday), and No Bank Holidays. There is an excellent support team in the pharmacy to help cater for the steady flow of customers throughout the day. There is free parking on site. Great package on offer for the right Pharmacist.
Role & Responsibilities:
* The delivery of clinical services to the local community, working closely with other healthcare professionals
* Ensuring the provision of the highest level of patient care
* Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
* Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
* Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, including dosage, side effects, and interactions with other medications.
* Counsel patients on the management of chronic diseases.
* Conduct medication reviews to ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed.
* Maintain a safe and secure pharmacy environment.
* Stay up-to-date on new drugs and treatments.
Qualifications and experience:
* Registered with the PSNI
* Experience with vaccinations is a positive
