Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S11) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you have a passion for the past and a drive to help students explore history’s lessons? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to collaborate with schools across Sheffield, particularly within the S11 locality, inspiring curiosity and critical thinking in learners. As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that explore key themes, build analytical skills, and connect past with present, while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages discussion and enquiry. Key Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured history lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage critical thinking, debate, and independent learning. Maintain a focused and positive classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching qualification. Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
