Patient Meals Catering Assistant

The post will cover Ward catering Services at Hull Royal Infirmary.
Shift pattern includes days, weekends, and bank holidays with unsocial hours enhancements (as per NHS employee terms and conditions).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist in providing a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service that meets patient needs and aligns with the Trust's objectives.
To deliver high-quality ward catering services, including the presentation of a wide range of cook-freeze food items.

Person Specification
Experience
* Previous healthcare work experience
Food Safety & Training
* Basic food safety training or higher
* GCSE Maths and English
* Level 2 or above food safety qualification
* NVQ Level 2 or above
Skills
* Kitchen and personal hygiene
* Ability to meet service standards
Knowledge
* Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety standards
