Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing business in the Reading area. Working for a SME business and reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will encompass all aspects of management accounting and will be responsible for the following tasks: Prepare and distribute monthly management accountsProvide variance analysis and commentaryLiaise with budget holders and prepare the annual budgetsRun monthly budget review meetingsBusiness partner with stakeholders providing key analysis and management informationEnsure the timely month end close of financial activities such as journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliationsReview and develop processes and systemsProvide financial support with ongoing projects The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in an all round management accountant or similar roleStrong analytical and IT skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExperience of working with a range stakeholdersQualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Due to location, own transport would be preferred.
