We are seeking a Family Paralegal to join our Family team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support fee earners on a range of private family law matters, while developing your experience within a supportive and well‑established regional law firm.
Previous family law experience is advantageous but not essential, and we are keen to hear from candidates with strong transferable paralegal skills and a genuine interest in family law.
You will undertake the following but not limited to:
* Providing paralegal support to fee earners within the Family team
* Assisting with family law matters, including private children work
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner
* Managing files and supporting case progression in line with legal and procedural requirements
* Completing and processing legal aid applications
You will enjoy this role if you are:

* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues
* Work well as part of a collaborative team
* Are interested in building or continuing a career in family law
* Previous paralegal experience in family law, particularly private children work
* Experience in processing Legal Aid applications
