We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance and Operations, a knowledgeable Leader, who is ready to take responsibility for financial planning, analysis, and guidance. A great operator who is capable of handling multiple projects and initiatives of a growing mobile app business. As a key member of the Executive Team, Head of Finance and Operations will report to the CEO of the company and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.
WHICH BACKGROUND DO YOU HAVE?
— Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required;
— Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles;
— Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
— Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Netsuite);
— Hands-on experience with financial and analytical platforms at the core of operations of mobile app or web businesses (Stripe, Braintree, Paypal, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, AppFigures, BI tools, etc.)
— Hands-on experience with analyzing legal contracts and agreements;
— Advanced knowledge of MS Office software and accounting computer application systems;
— Global thinking and outstanding analytical skills;
— Experience of work with multiple foreign jurisdictions;
— Experience in strategic planning and execution;
— Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management;
— Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects;
— Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company’s long-term strategy;
* Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company including budgeting, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions;
* Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company;
* Evaluating long-term plans and introducing new programs and strategies;
* Financial Planning and Analysis
* Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports;
* Review the planning process and suggest improvements to current methods;
* Assist in the development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports;
* Finance
* Oversee cash, investment, and asset management;
* Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships;
* Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization operations and business plans;
* Accounting and Administration
* The full scope of responsibilities for accounting, taxation, financial reporting and disputes with tax authorities;
* Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures;
* Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for the company board of directors; oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements;
* Coordinate audits and proper filing of tax returns;
* Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions;
* Cash Management
* Oversee weekly cash management;
* Oversee AR management and provide support to collections activities;
* Corporate Development
* Represent the company in efforts with investment bankers and potential investors;
* Prepare various analyses and reports required by corporate development efforts;
* Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations;
* Take the hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system;
* Planning, Policy, and Investor Relations
* Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets;
* Develop financial business plans and forecasts;
* Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team;
* Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans and projections.
