Senior Data Scientist – Customer & Lifecycle Analytics
London (Hybrid) | Full-time | £90,000–£105,000 + Bonus & Equity
Are you ready to apply your data science expertise to tackle real-world churn, retention, and customer value challenges at scale? We're building out a world-class Customer Analytics function and are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who thrives on turning data into business growth.

What You'll Own
As our Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the design and deployment of models that directly impact revenue, retention, and marketing ROI, including:
* Churn Prediction: Build and deploy predictive models that identify customers at risk of leaving — enabling proactive retention.
* Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) Modeling: Forecast customer value at various lifecycle stages and support pricing, loyalty, and CRM personalization strategies.
* Customer Segmentation: Use clustering and behavioral analysis to identify and activate high-value cohorts.
* Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM): Quantify the incremental impact of paid and owned marketing channels to guide investment and campaign strategy.
* Full ML Stack Ownership: Own the end-to-end data science lifecycle — from exploration and experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and stakeholder enablement.
* Business Integration: Work directly with CRM, Product, and Growth teams to translate insights into measurable impact.
* Experimentation & Uplift Modeling: Design A/B tests, causal inference frameworks, and uplift models to identify the
right
customers to target.
Our Tech & Tooling
You'll work with a modern stack including:
* Python, SQL, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Databricks, DBT
* ML frameworks: XGBoost, CatBoost, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, SHAP/LIME
* MLOps: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, model versioning and monitoring
* BI: Power BI / Looker for insights and storytelling
You're Right for This Role If You...
* Have 5+ years of applied data science experience, ideally in churn, lifecycle, or marketing analytics roles
* Have built and deployed churn, CLV, or retention models into production
* Can design and defend customer segmentation strategies
* Are fluent in experiment design, causal impact, and uplift modeling
* Know how to prioritize business value and can clearly explain model outputs to non-technical audiences
* Love building for scale — not just notebooks, but products and systems that last
* Bonus: experience with MMM, Bayesian modelling, or Recommender Systems
