The Role
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), with strong support and structured development provided.
You’ll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting compliance, and helping to ensure safe working practices across site operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day health & safety support across site
* Assist in implementing HSE policies and procedures
* Act as a first point of contact for H&S queries
* Support risk assessments (including COSHH and task-based)
* Identify hazards and follow through to resolution
* Carry out workplace inspections and audits
* Support incident reporting and investigations
* Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training support
* Assist with contractor compliance and RAMS reviews
* Support fire safety checks and emergency procedures
What We're Looking For
* NEBOSH National General Certificate (or willing to complete within 12 months)
* Strong interest in developing a career in Health & Safety
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Proactive, hands‑on approach
* Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment
