Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Management Accountant to join a high growth Logistics business based in Morley, the business is going from strength to strength and with that are wanting to bring in a new member of the team to take on the Month end accounts to allow the Finance Manager to travel to other sites.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, key duties of the Management Accountant will include:
1. Producing Management Accounts for multiple business Units
2. Providing Financial Assistance to out-bases when needed
3. Calculating and raising Intercompany recharge invoices
4. Ensuring stock prices reflect landed costs
5. Ensuring Foreign exchange liability is correctly hedged
6. Assisting in the budgeting process for multiple business units
7. Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, calculating and posting of Depreciation
8. Posting and payment of expenses
9. Bank reconciliations
10. Gaining authorization of overhead invoices coding and posting
11. Posting journals
12. Assisting with more complex stock invoice queries
13. Reconciliation and maintenance of the invoice financing facility
14. Overhead variance analysis
15. Daily sales reporting
16. Stock reporting
17. Balance sheet Reconciliations
18. Calculating Prepayments and accruals
19. Calculating customer and supplier rebates
To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:
20. Excellent Organisational and Communication skills
21. The ability to work independently and as part of team.
22. Previous experience working within a manufacturing/wholesale/distribution industry.
23. The ability to resolve queries.
24. Good Excel skills
25. Ability to prioritise workload.
26. Ideally ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
