Taskmaster Resources Ltd in Huddersfield, working with the University here since 2014 are currently seeking a placement administrator for 3 weeks work, initially. Job Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Placements team ( Student Services) administering the day-to-day processes with respect to placedments.To provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, providing a friendly, timely and effective service. Duties: 1. To provide support to the Placements team working closely with them on a daily basis. 2. To input data accurately onto the placement systems using excel spreadsheets. 3. To support placement processes, contacting schools to provide and source information. 4. To collate onboarding information e.g., qualifications, references, Right to Work checks, DBS checks, ensuring that the recruitment process progresses smoothly. 5. To produce a timely and accurate range of contractual documentation, including letters and contracts ensuring the documents prepared reflect the appropriate terms and conditions of employment. 6. To support the preparation of placement documentation (contracts, handbooks etc). 7. Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews including room bookings and diary management. 8. To respond to enquires regarding placement processes, timelines and requirements. 9. To produce correspondence on a range of issues; distribute and file all correspondence, contracts, reports etc. and maintain electronic files for any placement related query. 10. To provide Reception cover on a rota basis, acting as a first point of contact for the department, welcoming all visitors to reception in a friendly and helpful manner. 11. To maintain up to date knowledge and skills through participation in training and development. 12. To undertake any other duties within the remit of the role and commensurate with the grade, as required Essential: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within education, careers, or student services. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Desirable: Experience using student record or placement management systems (e.g., InPlace, CareerHub, or similar). Understanding of higher education structures and processes.
