One of our premier clients, an established and expanding IT Services company, are at a point where they are looking to make a crucial hire into the business to aid their ambitious expansion plans moving into 2026. They are seeking an IT Support Technician to join their growing team dedicated to delivering a professional and polished service. You will be working from their modern offices on the outskirts of Chester and at client premises throughout the North West and on occasion further afield.
As a key person within the team infrastructure no two days will be the same and you will have input to a wide variety of projects. This is a position which, once bedded into their culture and familiarised with their ways of working and client engagement will lead to a fast tracking into management, initially into Support Desk Management, then evolving further into Operations. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 years in an IT Support role and now be ready and skilled to move into a more senior position with more responsibility.
What will you be doing?
Manage incidents and support requests to 2nd/3rd Line level working to SLAs
Setup of Firewalls, Routers, Switches
Assume key responsibility for the transition of on-boarding new clients and transferring knowledge to the Service Desk team
