HR Business Partner - Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service - Lisburn Join the public sector in Lisburn as an HR Business Partner and play a key role in providing professional HR advice, support and guidance to middle and senior managers within operational command areas and wider support functions and to support in the implementation of HR policies and procedures as required by the People & Culture strategy. About the role:
1. £24.41 per hour
2. Lisburn HQ
3. 36.25 hours a week
4. Temporary, up to 6 months with possible extension

What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Provide expert advice, knowledge and support to middle/senior managers in relation to the effective application of HR policies, procedures, terms and conditions across a range of national agreements, in line with HR best practice.
7. Ensure co-ordination and consistency of advice between all business partners through regular liaison and exchange of ideas and best practice.
8. Ensure effective working relationships with key stakeholders including members of the NIFRS Board, Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Teams and Trade Unions.
9. Develop and implement HR solutions through engagement, communication, mediation and other mechanisms to reach the best outcome; ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and case law and managing and mitigating any risk to NIFRS.
10. Produce and provide monthly HR analytics, to support the decision making of area / department management.
11. Promote and co-ordinate staff health and wellbeing activities.
What you'll need for this role:
12. A Degree (Level 6) qualification
13. Current professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) with at least three years’ HR experience advising on core employee relations matters, including discipline, grievance, attendance management and dignity at work within a unionised organisation
14. OR be working towards professional CIPD membership with at least five years’ HR experience advising on core employee relations matters, including discipline, grievance, attendance management and dignity at work within a unionised organisation
15. Experience providing professional HR advice at senior level within an organisation
16. A full, current UK driving licence or access to transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
