LEAD FEM Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Lead FEM Engineer based in the Filton area.
This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

The Role:
This role is for a Lead FEM Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
Support the development of GFEM and DFEM projects across all Programmes
Analyse and Validate FE and Stress data
Deliver digital solutions to optimise Wing structure enablement processesThe Individual
We’re looking for people who can show:
Educated to degree level in Aerospace Engineering
Knowledge and experience with FEM tools, i.e. Hyperwork, Hypermesh and MSC Nastran
Experience with the idealisation of Wing component structure with Finite Element Methodology
ISAMI competent user is an advantage
FEM Signature delegation is an added advantage
Knowledge and experience with UNIX-based platforms is an advantageThe Benefits:
