Licence Required: Class 1 (C+E) - ideally held for 6+ months
We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s team in Rugby. This role primarily involves trunking and delivering goods to stores and distribution centres, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
The Role:
1. General haulage of a range of goods.
2. Collections from other sites.
3. Trunking from depot to depot when required.
4. Work can be timed deliveries so time keeping is key and communicating any delays is a big part of the job.
5. Some handball will be required to unload the vehicle for the stores.
6. 2 weeks of training and inductions for drivers with less than 6 months’ experience.
Experience & Qualifications:
7. Full UK C+E licence.
8. Valid Driver CPC and Digi Card.
9. No more than 6 points for minor offences.
10. Strong timekeeping skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
