We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Tannery. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis.
About the Role
Are you someone who enjoys fixing things and solving problems? In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and ensuring it remains a safe, welcoming environment for our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out minor reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance
* Ensuring the building meets all statutory compliance requirements
* Managing large commercial waste bins located outside the property
* Handling routine fixes and tackling unexpected maintenance issues
* Supporting the wider team by ensuring the building is running efficiently and safely
You'll be the go-to person for all things maintenance and play a key part in giving our residents a great place to live.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in building maintenance or a similar trade
* Practical, resourceful, and confident solving everyday issues
* Positive, hardworking, and able to stay upbeat when challenges arise
* Able to work independently while being a supportive team player
