Programme Overview
Our Global Markets (GM) Summer Analyst programme gives interns maximum exposure to the various products across FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities) and Equities. Interns will work in an exciting and fast-paced environment fully supported by managers, buddies, mentors and Global Markets colleagues. The internship includes three rotations across Sales, Trading, Structuring, Platform & Electronic Trading.
Training and Development
Your training and development are a top priority, with extensive formal training at the start of the programme, in addition to on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
As a summer analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Sales: Supporting the salesforce in daily activities, gaining exposure to client relationship management, preparing marketing material and client presentations, exploring sales leads through market and company research, and delivering analytical projects around client profitability and market trends.
* Trading: Supporting traders in daily activities, shadowing senior team members, undertaking mock trading to learn risk management and market making, analysing client and market data to help develop and execute trades, and following macro and company-specific events in real time.
* Structuring: Supporting senior structurers, traders and sales across GM, preparing client meeting materials, analysing and designing client solutions, gaining front-to-back exposure from client relationship management to risk management and pricing, and delivering projects on topical themes across asset classes with Quants or Research partners.
* Platform & Electronic Trading: Understanding how the Platform team collaborates with clients, Sales & Trading, Quants and Technology to deliver cutting-edge solutions, learning about cross-asset electronic trading platforms, and contributing to projects that automate workflows and develop pricing and risk tools. Ability to apply programming and analytical skills to real business problems.

Eligibility and Availability
* Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027. Evidence of completion may be requested before offers.
* Minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent) on track for graduation.
* Available to join the programme from June – August 2026.
Note: Candidates who perform well may be offered full-time employment to commence in July 2027; some lines of business may offer January or April start dates. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered.
