Availability Window: 6 am – 10 pm, Monday – Saturday. You should be able to work during these hours and will receive three‑week notice of your scheduled shifts.
Pay: starts from £15.59 per hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
As a Shift Leader you will run duty shifts in a fast‑paced retail environment, ensuring the store is clean, well‑stocked and exceeds customer expectations. You will coach your colleagues, support managers, and maintain a safe, inclusive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the store team to deliver an easy, fuss‑free shopping experience.
* Support colleagues to meet daily priorities and take regular breaks.
* Open and close the store, complete duty cover, and ensure all decisions support safety.
* Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues in the absence of a manager.
* Maintain store cleanliness, tidiness and presentation.
* Support managers with seasonal, community and charity events.
* Promote an inclusive team atmosphere and inspire positive customer service.
* Keep the team informed on communications, changes, or updates.
* Stay knowledgeable about store performance and seek improvements.
* Coordinate store improvements and remove obstacles to service.
* Follow health and safety routines and procedures.
* Recognise and celebrate excellent service within the team.
