Our A* Client based in the heart of Chester is seeking to add a talented Operations Manager / Operations Support Manager to its ranks.

Objectives of the Role

* Support and implement processes on all tenancy changeovers for sites under instruction from Business Development Managers and approved by RODs.
* Work closely with the estates team to ensure Statutory Code compliance regarding all pubs code agreements.
* Provide support to Regional Operations Directors, Estates, and Business Development Managers daily, resolving issues and escalating where necessary.
* Facilitate and encourage a positive working environment, leading by example in line with company values.

Key Responsibilities

* Check all tenancy agreements before issuing to licensees using provided checklists.
* Develop and maintain tracking systems for all incoming and outgoing business documentation; provide monthly KPI reports for each region.
* Provide regular updates on KPIs to the Ops Exec team via presentations.
* Oversee and manage operator agreements, disposal, and ULP change notifications.
* Create and implement business plan processes, ensuring compliance with the Statutory Code and proper documentation filing.
* Assist the team in tracking documentation from BDMs for timely completion.
* Ensure adherence to the Statutory Code around substantive lets, using monitoring systems involving the Ops Support team and estates managers.
* Build and improve reports to monitor tenant agreement expirations and enable timely renewals.
* Monitor account setups, ensuring correct billing lines and agreement types, liaising with the sales ledger team as needed.
* Present exception reports to field teams and Operations to improve processes and communication.
* Assist FP&A with the annual audit of the Statutory Code.
* Provide monthly reports on expired agreements and rent reviews, supporting compliance documentation.
* Coordinate with estates and operations teams to ensure timely service of dilapidations in line with the company's Code of Practice.
* Participate in monthly meetings with the Estates team and Property Director to review compliance and coordinate paperwork.
* Manage and develop team performance through regular 1:1s, coaching, training, and feedback.
* Conduct monthly team meetings with the Ops Support team.
* Perform ad hoc reports and tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

* Ability to positively influence and engage colleagues and team members.
* Resilience in challenging scenarios with a solution-focused approach.
* Flexibility and openness to change.
* Experience in a similar role is desirable.

Line Management Experience Essential

* Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Organized, versatile, and flexible working approach.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (desirable but not essential).

Ability to work at pace in a constantly changing environment.
