Role Summary

The Clinical Engineering EBME department is seeking an enthusiastic member of the technical engineering team to support Maintenance functions across the Trust located at the NDDH Barnstaple Acute hospital site working across the Acute site and Community.

This post is being directed at anyone who is looking for a great career in Clinical engineering through supported training and apprenticeship options and a wide variety of experiences to be gained by working in a multi-disciplinary team in the NHS Trust.

We are looking for someone who has or is currently finishing their Level2/3 engineering qualifications or has transferable skills and who wishes to continue onto the next level in engineering.

The successful candidate will possess good technical skills and be an excellent communicator, working closely with other staff within the EBME Clinical Engineering team, and the wider Trust Clinical Engineering departments. They will possess good organisational skills and be able to manage multiple workstreams and changing priorities giving feedback and updates to team senior staff. They will be working directly with clinical staff, maintaining a professional relationship whilst undertaking their tasks.
