I am recruiting for a world leading food manufacturer who require are in the market for an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join their business for a minimum 3–6-month contract. They are looking for someone to start immediately on their site based in West Yorkshire.
For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
1. Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
2. Apply relevant technical guidance control hazards and potential risk
3. Respond to incidents, report KPI’s
4. Report to H&S Director and executive team daily
5. Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
6. Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities
The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes:
7. Strong track record within H&S within Food and or Beverage
8. Mechanical background – conveyors, baggers, packers, palletisers, hoppers
9. Ability to interact with and manage internal and external labour
10. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
