Reed Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team in Carnforth on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in a Learning Support role, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide learning and care support for pupils with SEN, working closely with the teacher to plan and deliver activities.
* Support pupils with routines, transitions, and behaviour management to ensure a conducive learning environment.
* Act as a good role model for students by demonstrating qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
* Engage with students to promote interaction and inclusive educational practices.
* One to one and small group work.

1. Recent relevant experience working within a classroom environment.
