What you’ll do
As one of our Apprentice Sales Advisers you will primarily serve customers at the till, deliver excellent service, and ensure customers don’t miss out on any of our great Star Buys. You’ll help ensure the store is well stocked and maintains a high level of store presentation while actively contributing to achieving store targets. Your Assessor and store team will help you improve communication, teamwork and organisational skills, and will support you with employability skills including interview skills, CV preparation, money management, health and wellbeing.
Training will take place in store (no college days). At the end of training you will complete an end point assessment and, on successful completion, achieve a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship. During your Apprenticeship your Assessor and Store Manager will discuss potential progression opportunities, including becoming a sales adviser, team leader, or other retail roles. Superdrug is committed to developing your skills and offering real career progression supported by in-house training and apprenticeship qualifications.
What you’ll need to succeed?
* Confident and clear communication skills
* Passionate about retail and customer service
* Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
* Willingness to carry out piercing services for customers (training provided)
* Flexibility in working hours and adaptability to change

You qualify if…
* You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths
* You are not currently in any form of education and you are available for full-time shifts
* You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
* You are eligible to work in the UK
* You are brand new to retail
