Senior/Semi Senior Accountant - Nottingham - £30,000 - £42,000
Chase & Holland are proud to be partnering with a growing Accountancy Practice based in Nottingham on a key piece of recruitment for an up and coming Accountant. They are open to someone joining the team as a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant, depending on your prior experience and qualifications. Responsibilities
* Manage your own portfolio of clients, including handling queries
* Assisting the Managers with their client accounts
* Producing accounts based on to FRS105/102 section 1A standard
* Manage own work allocation and time
* Prepare CT computations and returns
* Filing of Confirmation Statements and other Companies House documents
* VAT return preparation and filing
* Dividend & investment planning
Hours
* Flexible working hours (35hrs)
* Hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
* Full time but open to part time for the right person
Required Skills & Experience
* Completed or studying towards ACCA/ACA
* AAT Qualified (if not quite embarked on further studies)
* Strong communication skills to work within a small internal team
* The ability to be able to prioritise your own workload
* Familiar with accounting software such as Xero and IRIS
