Pay starts from £12.45 per hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
New colleagues are offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (minimum 12), opportunities are available and we would love to hear from you.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week when we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks of notice for shifts. We are happy to be flexible if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with our advertised times. Please read more about this policy in the opportunities section.

You will be responsible for
* Knowing your customers and providing great service with enthusiasm
* Being knowledgeable about products and services within the store
* Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet their needs
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
* Understanding store performance and contributing to service, sales, waste reduction and profitability
* Handling products with care to maintain quality
* Representing Tesco’s values and following policies
* Occasionally assisting with deliveries to the store
