Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. We are recruiting both Associate and Principal level consultants to provide environmentally focused due diligence advice supporting real estate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions across the UK and Europe.
You will lead our established environmental due diligence teams, managing technical projects related to ground risk, flood risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
Candidate Profile
We seek an experienced environmental consultant with expertise in ground risk and environmental compliance, and some knowledge of sustainability. The ideal candidate is a proficient project manager, client-facing, capable of building relationships in the investment sector, and enthusiastic about leading a team of environmental consultants.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership: Managing a team across multiple offices, overseeing technical delivery, training, recruitment, and financial performance.
* Technical Support: Providing expertise in ground risk and environmental compliance.
* Project Management: Delivering multiple, time-sensitive projects across the UK and Europe.
* Financial Management: Managing budgets and reporting metrics.
* Client Relations: Developing new business, maintaining client communication, and supporting junior staff.
* Technical Delivery: Producing proposals and deliverables to meet client standards.
* Data Interpretation: Analyzing data and providing sound advice.
* Supplier Management: Coordinating with third-party specialists.
* Team Management: Coaching and providing performance feedback to senior team members.
* Values Demonstration: Embodying and promoting company values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant subject, with a secondary qualification (e.g., MSc) preferred.
* Membership of a professional body, preferably chartered.
* Knowledge in ground risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
* Proven project management and leadership skills.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and IT skills.
* Full UK driving license (preferred).
