The pupil needs morning only support and has Autism needs – previous experience with this would be preferred. Due to the nature of the role, a commitment to a long-term position which provides continuity for the pupil. Job role ⦁ Teaching assistant working with SEN pupil on a 1:1 basis ⦁ Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff. ⦁ Show secure subject knowledge to support learning. ⦁ Follow school policy regarding behaviour management systems. ⦁ Working 5 days per week – 8.30 to 1.00pm Required skills and experience ⦁ Valid teaching assistant qualification (minimum Level 2) ⦁ Previous experience working across a range of UK Primary year groups ⦁ A nurturing and caring approach with young people. ⦁ Commitment to a long-term role. ⦁ A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months. ⦁ Minimum of 2 excellent references required.
