About the Role:
• Deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience and capability.
• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that cater to students of varying abilities and learning needs.
• Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help maximise attainment and achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Uphold high standards of classroom management, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continued success of the Maths department and wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standards of classroom management and behaviour management.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• The ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
