At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We believe residents are people with their own stories, and joining HC-One is an opportunity to make a real difference in their lives. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Brize Meadow Lodge, focusing on delivering high-quality care. As a Care Assistant, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, including assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, personal hygiene and meals) and supporting general activities within the home. You’ll provide care that respects residents’ dignity and individuality, whether helping someone with limited mobility, offering comfort to someone distressed, or providing compassionate end-of-life care. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You should be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training, and seek appropriate advice or escalation if action is not taken.
