Stansted Airport College (STAC) invites you to apply for the Pastoral Support Officer role at Stansted Airport College CM24 1AR. This is a full-time, temporary cover position anticipated to run until July 2026 (with potential extension).

As our Pastoral Support Officer, you\'ll play a crucial role in ensuring that students feel engaged, supported, and prepared for life beyond college.
Responsibilities
* Support trainees with non-course related queries and their well-being.
* Plan and deliver tutorials and provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) to all learners on site.
* Plan the cover rota and cover classes where required.
* Lead on cross-college projects and initiatives.
* Support the college’s aim to provide an enjoyable, safe and enriching experience for trainees.
What we are looking for
* Qualified teacher status at Level 4 or above, or are currently working towards this.
* Have or are currently working towards a Level 3 safeguarding qualification.
* Experience of delivering IAG.
* Previous experience of working in an educational setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to plan and deliver learning sessions, projects and coordinate events.
* A relevant first aid qualification.
